What is the function of the thrust plate of the jaw crusher

The thrust plate of jaw crusher can be divided into two types: assembled type and integral type. The lining plate used in the simple swing jaw crusher is an assembled structure, which is assembled by connecting one elbow body and two bracket heads. Under this structure, when the wear and scrap occur, only part of the lining plate head needs to be replaced That is, it can efficiently save operating costs. In application, since this kind of thrust plate (bracket) is heavier, the lifting ring should be designed; the integral thrust plate is used on the compound pendulum jaw breaker because its weight and size are relatively small. As the main component of jaw crusher, thrust plate plays a prominent role, mainly in the following aspects:
1. Support the movable jaw plate and transmit the crushing force to the rear wall of the frame.
2. Change the thrust plate of different size to adjust the size of the outlet of the crusher.
3. It is the safety device in the whole machine. When feeding, when too hard and difficult to break material blocks or generally unbreakable metal blocks and other sundries are dropped, the thrust plate will break by itself to protect other parts from damage.
